Tact cafe | Olga Chut

This is a small family cafe in Lisbon, Portugal. The cafe is located in a building from the 60s that used to house a laundry. The space is very beautiful, regular in shape in the form of a trapezoid with panoramic windows. We decided to keep the old tiles on the floor and marble slabs on the walls that had been there since the house was built. This is history and we decided to preserve it. We even left a funny mirror from the previous interior in the toilet. The wooden yellow doors, as well as the window and door frames, were restored. We wanted to combine Portuguese aesthetics with Scandinavian style and modernism. So we used a lot of wood and simple shapes. All the wooden furniture was made in Lisbon, and the chairs near the tables are vintage.
