Slopeside House | Wrzeszcz Architekci

The main design assumption was to create a house that would lean against the existing escarpment, rising to gaze into the distance.
The primary part of the house is supported by the existing hill and on the reinforced concrete block of level -1. The investor treats the ground floor level as its own, self-sufficient space of the house with a beautiful view. A massive glass frame connects the living room, dining room, kitchen and outdoor terrace.
Below, on level -1, cars are tucked away in the garage, there is a technical area, children's rooms and a sports section with a sauna, from which there is direct access to the garden.
The support of the building on the hill necessitated a non-standard construction. The levitating corners of the house were constructed in a hanging structure. They are held by a reinforced concrete truss at the level of the roof attic. A concrete strip on top of the roof accentuates the actual structure of the building. The body of the house is complemented by a black frame surrounding the front elevation, with its corners hanging in the air.
Cars drive into the garage under one of the overhanging corners, while the other hovers over the garden and supports the outdoor terrace. Lush greenery surrounding the suspended house completes the design.
