a further construction, a transformation, an addition, a new use of a chicken house, part of a historic building located in the centre of milland, near brixen. the idea of a retreat, a room for reflection, meditation, rest, dreaming, being yourself. all the new components of the building are handmade and designed in an essential way according to the principle of the construction in continuity. the solid stone walls, the plasterworks were cleaned and restored, retained in their tactility and completed just in the gaps or transitions. they are additions that give a new identity to the whole, such as the gutter as a colourful and textured design element. the newly positioned black pigmented concrete staircase integrates the building into the landscape and becomes part of it. it is positioned in the complex by extending the wall, which induces a retreat in the open air. a continuation of the construction of the wall, of the solid. the architecture is completed by a concrete circle, a landscape element, an island, a place to linger in the midst of untreated nature. the roof of the volume floats constructively on the stone, creating a special in-between space, lightness and visual references. the skin of welded, untreated aluminium sheets is laid on top of it, creating a handcrafted counterpoint. special elements such as the detailed eaves painted green, the red colour taken from the context, the door and window frames form a contrast to the wall and create an effect that accentuates it. the window frames form a contrast to the wall and create a unity. inside there is an open osb box, painted light pink. the sectional line of the box runs through the room, becoming a wall panelling, kitchen and bathroom and, despite of the minimum space (15 m2), creates lightness in the interior. a concentrated, changeable space that resides within itself: a space for working, sleeping and dreaming.

ein weiterbauen, ein umbauen, ein ergänzen, ein neu nutzen eines hühnerstalls als teil eines denkmalgeschützen hofes im ortszentrum von milland bei brixen. die idee eines rückzugortes, einer kammer zum nachdenken, zum meditieren, zum rasten, zum träumen, zum für sich sein. alle neuen bauteile wurden nach dem prinzip des weiterbauens handwerklich gefertigt und zurückhaltend gestaltet. ein herausschälen von wertigkeiten, materialität und details. die massiven steinmauern, die putze werden gesäubert und restauriert, in seiner haptik belassen und nur in den leibungen bzw. in übergängen ergänzt.  ein arbeiten, ein integrieren mit dem vorhanden, den öffnungen. Diese werden belassen und nur durch ein minimalen ausschnitt erweitert. es sind ergänzungen, die dem gesamten eine neue identität geben, wie die rinne als farbliches, materielles gestaltungselement. durch die neu positionierte schwarz pigmentierte betontreppe integriert sich das gebäude in der landschaft und wird teil derer. es positioniert sich im ensemble durch ein verlängern der mauer, die den rückzugsort ins freie führt. ein weiterbauen an der mauer, am vollen. Ergänzt wird die architektur durch einen betonkreis, ein landschaftselement, eine insel, ein ort zum verweilen inmitten unbehandelter natur. das dach des volumens schwebt konstruktiv über den stein, schafft besonderen zwischenraum, leichtigkeit und blickbezüge. darübergelegt die haut aus geschweißten unbehandelten aluminiumplatten, die einen handwerklichen kontrapunkt bewirken. besonderheiten wie die grün lackierte detaillierte regenrinne, das vorgefundenene rot, der tür – bzw. der fensterrahmen bilden einen kontrast zur mauer und bewirken eine einheit im gesamten. im inneren eine offene osb-schachtel hineingestellt, in einen leichten rosa lackiert. die schnittlinie der schachtel zieht sich durch den raum, wird kasten, täfelung, küche und bad und bewirkt trotz minimalen raum ( m2) eine leichtigkeit im inneren. ein zentrierter, veränderbarer raum in sich ruhend: ein spazio arbeiten, schlafen, träumen.

un’ulteriore costruzione, una trasformazione, un’aggiunta, un nuovo utilizzo di un pollaio, parte di un edificio storico situato nel centro di milland, vicino a brixen. l’idea di un ritiro, una camera per la riflessione, la meditazione, il riposo, il sogno, l’essere se stessi. tutti i nuovi componenti dell’edificio sono stati realizzati a mano e progettati con moderazione secondo il principio dell’ulteriore costruzione. i muri in pietra massiccia, gli intonaci sono stati puliti e restaurati, mantenuti nella loro tattilitá e completati solo nei vuoti o nelle transizioni. sono aggiunte che danno una nuova identità all’insieme, come la grondaia come elemento di design colorato e materico. la scala in calcestruzzo pigmentato nero, posizionata di recente, integra l’edificio nel paesaggio e ne diventa parte. si posiziona nel complesso prolungando il muro, che induce al ritiro all’aperto. una continuazione della costruzione del muro, del pieno. l’architettura è completata da un cerchio di cemento, un elemento paesaggistico, un’isola, un luogo in cui soffermarsi in mezzo alla natura non trattata. la copertura del volume galleggia in modo costruttivo sulla pietra, creando uno speciale spazio intermedio, leggerezza e riferimenti visivi. la pelle di lastre di alluminio saldate e non trattate è posata sopra di essa, creando un contrappunto artigianale. elementi particolari come la grondaia dettagliata dipinta di verde, il rosso ripreso dal contesto, i telai di porte e finestre formano un contrasto con il muro e creano un effetto che lo accentua. il telaio delle finestre fa da contrasto alla parete e crea un’unità. all’interno è stata collocata una scatola aperta in osb, dipinta di rosa chiaro. la linea sezionale della scatola attraversa l’ambiente, diventando rivestimento, cucina e bagno e, nonostante lo spazio minimo (15 m2), crea leggerezza all’interno. uno spazio concentrato, mutevole, che risiede in se stesso: uno spazio per lavorare, dormire e sognare.
