Alexander McQueen - Art meets Fashion

For the enfant terrible of London fashion, fashion is not just a question of aesthetics. Every creation is socially coded, its meanings based on specific knowledge and references, which earned the designer much criticism for misinterpretation.

To understand the complexity of the designer's work and grasp the depth of his creativity, the exhibition "Alexander McQueen. Art meets fashion" takes us on an immersive journey through the designer's work, where periods, artistic currents, techniques and places intertwine.

These places, which inhabited the designer's mind, are now displayed in the galleries of the Pavillon Lassonde. Sometimes real, sometimes imaginary, sometimes vanished, they take us into McQueen's grandiose world, where inspiration is inexhaustible and knows no bounds. Taking the form of a museion, an alley, a cabinet of curiosities, a workshop, a labyrinth and a laboratory, the scenography inhabits the space to provide constant points of view on McQueen's work, offering an experience between light and shadow, drama and beauty.
