This design is the remodelling and adaptation of the technical areas; Teams’ Garages and Paddock at Interlagos Circuit, according to the new FIA (International Automobile Federation) regulations for Formule One.

A new Operational Center (Race Control, Timekeeping, etc.) was built, the core of the racetrack's operations, as well as new garages for the teams, a support building for teams’ staff, a new F1 Paddock Area and new hospitality areas for VIP Guests . The old structure was obsolete, preventing the proper performance of all the necessary equipment for holding events.

To ensure an unobstructed view of the track, the main building was designed mostly in glass providing a broad view of the track, the F1 Paddock Area and the Podium.

The international F1 Grand Prix takes place only once a year and is the event that presents the greatest number of operational demands and technical requirements. By taking into account all the necessary technical features in its design, the refurbished technical installations are capable of hosting the other smaller-scale events that take place during the rest of the time (national motor racing and motorcycling competitions, cultural events, concerts, music festivals etc.) with excellence.

The Garages, the new F1 Paddock Area and the Support Building can be used to host a variety of events, which has enabled Interlagos to go from being just a facility for motorsport competitions to also become a venue for events and conventions.

Some structures necessary solely for the functioning of the Grand Prix are  temporary, assembled shortly before and dismantled after the event (overlay). The aim was not to overburden the construction and maintenance of the complex. Part of the grandstands and media facilities are examples of these temporary structures.

Metallic structural system was chosen for the garages, taking into account the need for high ceilings and large spans, while the other buildings were made of precast concrete, ensuring rational construction, lightness, and flexibility of the internal spaces.
