Estádio Primeiro de Maio | EFFECT ARQUITETURA
Primeiro de Maio Stadium São Paulo / Brazil / 2010
Founded at the end of the 1960s and without being renovated since then, the Primeiro de Maio Stadium required a number of improvements if it was to be able to host matches in the Campeonato Paulista when São Bernardo Futebol Clube ascended to the state's top division.
To achieve that, a new stand was built for the west sector, with VIP and press cabins, increasing the capacity to 15,000 spectators. In general, the improvement of the infrastructure was also part of the project, with the addition of lighting towers, remodeling of the changing rooms, public toilets and other support areas, all in accordance with the standards required by FIFA and the Football Fan Statute.
