This spacious and modern 168 sqm apartment in Minsk, designed by interior designer Daria Solovyeva, is the perfect home for an active family that loves to entertain guests. Through the inventive use of crafts and designer items, combined with unique lighting, the interior achieves both functionality and authenticity.

The floor plan was carefully designed to fulfill the clients' desire for a large kitchen, dining, and living area that offers stunning views of the beautifully landscaped surroundings. Upon entering, a spacious hall leads to the common areas, laundry, and bathrooms. The master suite, complete with its own closet, offers a more private space, as do the guest and children's bedrooms. A wide balcony provides a serene view of the forest and river, while panoramic glazing allows natural light to flood the apartment, visually expanding the space and seamlessly integrating the outdoor landscape with the interior.

The concept of the project revolves around the philosophy of aristocratic and understated comfort. To achieve this, the designer combined luxurious textiles with natural finishing materials. Wood, with its warm tones, is juxtaposed against cold metals and stones, complemented by fabric textures, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.
Nearly all the furniture in the apartment is custom-made, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail. For example, the kitchen cabinetry features veneered MDF fronts, paired with a brushed wood countertop adorned with elegant brass rivets and clasps. The custom-made items, along with the designer's own light fixtures, serve as artistic pieces within the space. The dining area boasts a unique table crafted from metal and glass, with a log insert, while the living room showcases a cabinet on a metal base, incorporating aged wood elements and a distinctive layout. The hallway is elevated by a console with a raw, jagged stone edge, adding a touch of organic beauty.

In order to accentuate architectural planes and volumes, the project's author used a natural color palette and artistic plastering techniques. Creating the ceiling pattern posed a challenge, but with the chosen techniques, the desired visual effect was achieved. "I am proud that this apartment features many original and unique items created from individual drawings," shares Daria.

The light fixtures in the bathroom, living room, and master bedroom were designed specifically by the interior designer. These fixtures not only add a special charm to the space, but also serve as focal points. Each room has its own unique lighting scenario, with lights positioned strategically above the bathtub and near the sink, as well as decorative lights on the balcony, in the bedroom, and living room. These thoughtfully crafted lighting designs allow for easy transformation of the ambiance, enabling the interior to shift beautifully with the rhythm of the day, mirroring the vibrant life of its inhabitants.
