Hybrid Park | Yushan Men

The project commences with linear circulations throughout the community, aiming to counteract the prevailing trend of privatized urban developments by establishing multiple, continuous spatial layers. Concurrently, the public open spaces and numerous passages are designed to be welcoming and accessible to the public from all sides.

This community comprises three distinct layers: ten apartment buildings integrated into the private layer; the plinths, which serve as the foundation for these apartment buildings, encompass a residents-only pool park; and the ground-level playgrounds, sports courts beneath the plinths, and the sky-loop collectively form a public park with a hanging garden.

The community features three types of residential buildings, all perched on two-story high plinths interconnected by a network of bridges. On the sixth floor, the roof gardens and select building openings are linked by enclosed passages, creating a loop of hanging gardens that provide serene green spaces.

The plinths have dual functions: they serve as private playgrounds and collectively form a pool park exclusive to residents. Half of the plinths are elevated to the second floor, allowing for the creation of semi-outdoor sports courts situated in the basement.
