The starting point for the studio design was the need to integrate multiple functions within the same space: a filming studio, a professional kitchen, and a space for culinary events.

The client's requirements defined the project theme:

They wanted a premium and welcoming space that resonated with Jamila Cuisine's fans.

Stylistically, we subtly introduced Moroccan influences: latticed panels (used to cover windows and found in the furniture fronts) and a color palette based on shades of blue and ceramic tiling.

Harmonizing the functionality of a regular kitchen with a professional one and the technical requirements of a filming studio was challenging. Frames were pre-designed, and the way they appeared on camera posed constraints on the choice of finishes, textures, and colors.

The large number and variety of appliances and accessories that needed to be integrated presented a challenge. Every area had to be fully equipped for its intended use without appearing cluttered, aided by the studio's generous proportions.

The studio layout was divided into three zones:

1. The main kitchen, where most recipes are filmed, is the focal point upon entry. It features two cooking areas – a gas stove with a decorative hood and an induction cooktop with an integrated hood. Every square inch was optimized, and custom-made furniture provided the necessary storage and workspace.
2. The space designated for culinary events and workshops is an expansive area ideal for combining cooking and socializing. The central and dominant piece is the kitchen island. For visual continuity and flow, the ceramic tiling from the floor extends onto the island's furniture. Cooking is facilitated by two induction cooktops with built-in hoods and a gas stove.
3. In a somewhat more intimate area, created by its lack of visibility from the studio's entrance, is the space for socializing, tasting dishes, and relaxed coffee conversations. The inclusion of velvety and billowy textile materials imparts sophistication and a welcoming atmosphere to the studio's design.
