"We want our customers to feel like they are the king. Above all, no medical or hospital atmosphere, they already see that enough. The allure and feeling of a 5-star hotel, that is what it should be. With maximum comfort for everyone." I started working with this clear reference from La Mer.

I translated this into an interior design with round and organic shapes that flow smoothly into each other. The up/down lighting fixtures were designed and custom-made for this occasion. They, as it were, suck you in and show you the way through the building. The open and transparent spaces are surrounded by large windows and round wooden walls that provide a feeling of security. The acoustic stucco ceiling and curtains, which beautifully filter the outside light, create a serene atmosphere where you can stay comfortably.

The waiting area is separated from the consultation rooms by a long room divider that functions as a storage cupboard at the back for the daily work stock of shoes. The view and passage through the open compartments provide transparency and have a spatial effect.
The floor patterns and wood-clad pillars add a playful touch. The wall tile pattern in the toilet subtly ensures that even short people can see themselves in the mirror.

The workshop spaces, storage, canteen and presentation rooms are located on the upper floors. Old wooden lasts adorn the stairwell. Although nowadays made of polyester, they stand for what this company is all about: getting people to walk as well, safely, stable and pain-free as possible.

The interior design follows principles of Biophilic Design. This design principle assumes that humans naturally desire to be connected to nature.
