Brief

The client wanted to create a cozy, comfortable family home for a family with two children. Designers were tasked with creating an interior that combined elegance and functionality, while also ensuring all the comforts for a comfortable family life.

Challenge

The main challenge that the project team faced was to create a cozy and functional family home for a family with two children while maintaining an elegant and timeless design. This required careful consideration of various factors, including the need for comfort, functionality, and adaptability to changing tastes and the growing children's needs.

Concept

The concept was inspired by the desire to create a home that not only met the immediate needs of the family but would also stand the test of time, remaining stylish and functional for years to come. This involved the use of enduring design principles, such as neutral color palettes and natural materials, combined with modern furnishings and accents.

Realization

The planning of this project involved careful consideration of the layout to ensure functionality, comfort, and a seamless flow throughout the house.

The team reflected the calmness of the interior using more vibrant accents — an armchair with a deep emerald hue, a wine-colored plaid from Loro Piana Interiors. In the center there is a large sofa for cozy family evenings and a Poliform marble table. Sliding doors with a geometric pattern from Lualdi complete the ambience.

The space is enhanced with creamy tones by Aster. In the dining area, the team selected a Cattelan Italia table and chairs, primarily for their functionality. Pendant lamps from Penta and sconces from DelightFULL complete the area, while the artwork is by Maria Vozvyshaeva.

This area features warm and natural materials, soft textures, and the deep blue color creates an atmosphere of depth and tranquility. The team incorporated a Minotti brand bed and cabinets. For a comfortable reading nook, we positioned a plush Santa Monika Lounger by Poliform and a Heathfield & Co light near the window.

Chocolate shades, relief on the walls, and textured, glossy surfaces continue the style established in the bedroom. The team chose travertine, a natural light stone, for its practicality and aesthetic appeal. MillDue Mitage furniture is a perfect complement to the interior.

The key to the overall look is neutral colors, which were chosen for their longevity. Children grow up quickly and tastes change. Floral Wall&Deco wallpaper is combined with a Poliform armchair and decorative pillows. The Moooi brand light accentuates the playful mood the room generates.

The designers converted the hall into a 'navigation center' for the home. The focal points here are the elegant Fabbian chandelier and the Art et Floritude panel. In the hallway, we added a chest of drawers from the Cattelan Italia brand.

In the office, the team opted for classical-looking furniture from Poliform in dark leather and wood tones.
