Japanese architect Shigeru Ban has launched a project in Morocco to help the victims of the devastating earthquake that happened in Al Haouz earlier in September.
The project is led by the Voluntary Architects' Network (VAN), which was established in 1995 by Shigeru Ban to organise post-disaster aid in the field of construction.

A mock-up of Shigeru Ban’s ‘Paper Log House’, a temporary house designed and developed to provide shelter for those in urgent need, will be built at the National School of Architecture of Marrakech.
