The Meditation House is next in a series of houses for Paréa Zion, a landscape hotel & retreat center on the edge of Zion National Park, designed by Studio Andrew trotter.
A set of 6 cylinders that interlock creates a house without straight walls, with spaces that flow from one room to another. The house has been designed as a place to escape, a place to meditate, or a place for creatives to work on a project without distraction.
A central courtyard leads to all rooms that radiate from the living room in the centre, to the dining room and kitchen on one side, and the study and bedroom on the other. Below the house there is a cave-like swimming pool, a place where the world and your thoughts disappear.
Studio Andrew Trotter worked together with Francis Rudman to create the beautiful visuals and film.
