Capsule - apartment for a young man in Moscow

Retrofuturism has become a source of inspiration for creating an interior. During the visual search, we started from the image of the prototype of the Soviet superbike IZH Leader, which determined the general concept and direction vector of the architectural volume.

The space is divided into public and private parts. The latter forms a functional capsule unit with a bedroom, bathroom and wardrobe. The facade is made with rounded corners and ends, supports the general concept and makes a reference to the massive plastic fairings of the superbike.

Navigation in the interior has become an important design element, complementing the image of space. Detailed information about the location and directions of movement helps residents and guests to quickly navigate in space.

For this project, we used furniture designed according to our sketches, namely a modular kitchen and chairs. The interior also houses furniture and light from such manufacturers as Arflex, Entler, Tecta, New tendency, which, in our opinion, perfectly reflect the details and image of this interior.
