The project offers structure through the use of a courtyard rooted in both the site itself and its surroundings architectures — This court constitutes the bare essence of the building.
 
On the one hand the site of Vigla is characterized by its numerous traditional sheepfolds; composed of simple rectangular volumes adjoined to small courtyards that allow to increase the living space of the animals by associating the interior space to a larger outside space.
On the other hand, the place itself is defined by a not very common platitude that exposes the plateau to strong winds — giving all the more relevance to the architecture of the surroundings sheepfolds.
 
The use of a courtyard around which the building could be articulated allows to create a set of solid formal coherence, but it also helps to protect from strong winds in order to extend the relatively reduced interior living space to a much more generous and less expensive outdoor area.
 
Following that logic, each element of the project is materialized by a simple rectangular volume connected directly to the courtyard without secondary circulation. Between — and through — these volumes, openings toward the landscape articulate the relation of the courtyard to its surroundings.
 
The stones used to build the walls were extracted from the ground while digging the foundations and the underground cistern that collects rainwater. Then associated with the necessary concrete elements, they together develop a simple mineral architectural language, reinforcing the horizontality of the building and the unity of the courtyard.

Le projet est structuré par l'utilisation d'une cour ancrée à la fois dans le site lui-même et dans les architectures environnantes. Cette cour constitue l'essence même du bâtiment.
 
D'une part le site de Vigla se caractérise par ses nombreuses bergeries traditionnelles ; composées de volumes rectangulaires simples accolés à de petites cours qui permettent d'augmenter l'espace de vie des animaux en associant l'espace intérieur à un espace extérieur plus vaste.
D'autre part, le lieu lui-même est défini par une platitude peu commune qui expose le plateau à des vents violents — donnant d'autant plus de pertinence à l'architecture des bergeries environnantes.
 
L'utilisation d'une cour autour de laquelle le bâtiment pourrait s'articuler permet de créer un ensemble formel cohérent et fort, mais elle permet également de se protéger des vents violents afin d'étendre l'espace de vie intérieur relativement réduit à un espace extérieur beaucoup plus généreux et moins coûteux.
 
Suivant cette logique, chaque élément du projet est matérialisé par un simple volume rectangulaire relié directement à la cour sans circulation secondaire. Entre — et à travers — ces volumes, des ouvertures vers le paysage articulent le rapport de la cour à son environnement.
 
Les pierres utilisées pour construire les murs ont été extraites du sol en creusant les fondations du bâtit et de la citerne souterraine qui recueille l'eau de pluie. Associés ensuite aux éléments de béton nécessaires, ils développent ensemble un langage architectural minéral simple, renforçant l'horizontalité du bâtiment et l'unité de la cour.

To σπίτι είναι δομημένο γύρω από μια αυλη η οποία παίρνει ρίζες από την αρχιτεκτονική του περιβάλλοντα χώρου, ριζώνεται και συντονίζει με την σειρά του το κτίριο.  Η αυλη είναι η κεντρική ιδέα των αρχιτεκτονικών συνθέσεων και αποτελεί τον πυρήνα του κτιρίου.
 
H τοποθεσία της Βίγλας χαρακτηρίζεται από τις πολυάριθμες παραδοσιακές στάνες της. Τα κτίσματα αποτελούνται από απλούς ορθογώνιους όγκους που συνδέονται με μικρές αυλές που επιτρέπουν την αύξηση του ζωτικού χώρου των ζώων συνδέοντας τον εσωτερικό χώρο με έναν μεγαλύτερο εξωτερικό χώρο.
 
O ίδιος ο τόπος ορίζεται από μια πολύ ασυνήθιστη επιπεδότητα που εκθέτει το οροπέδιο σε ισχυρούς ανέμους δίνοντας ακόμη μεγαλύτερη συνάφεια στην αρχιτεκτονική των γύρω στανών.
 
Η δημιουργία μιας αυλής γύρω από την οποία διαμορφώνεται το σπίτι επιτρέπει τη δημιουργία ενός φορμαλιστικά συνεκτικού και ισχυρού συνόλου, αλλά και βοηθά επίσης στην προστασία από ισχυρούς ανέμους, προκειμένου να επεκταθεί ο σχετικά μειωμένος εσωτερικός χώρος διαβίωσης σε έναν πολύ πιο γενναιόδωρο εξωτερικό χώρο.
 
Ακολουθώντας αυτή τη λογική, κάθε στοιχείο του έργου υλοποιείται από έναν απλό ορθογώνιο όγκο που συνδέεται απευθείας με την αυλή χωρίς δευτερεύουσα κυκλοφορία. Μεταξύ και μέσω αυτών των όγκων, τα ανοίγματα προς το τοπίο προσδιορίζουν τη σχέση της αυλής με το περιβάλλον της.
 
Οι πέτρες που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν για την κατασκευή των τοίχων αντλήθηκαν από το έδαφος από την εκσκαφή των θεμελίων και της δεξαμενής που μαζεύει το νερό της βροχής. Στη συνέχεια, σε συνδυασμό με τα απαραίτητα στοιχεία από σκυρόδεμα, αναπτύσσουν από κοινού μια απλή ορυκτή αρχιτεκτονική γλώσσα, ενισχύοντας την οριζοντιότητα του κτιρίου και την ενότητα της αυλής.
