Τhe particular duplex apartment in Vironas was, until recently, a spacious two-level apartment in an apartment building, which was not inhabited on a permanent basis. The basic design owner requirement was the remodeling of its functional structure and aesthetics so that the space can be used as a production studio as well as a residence. At the same time, the main issue was the creation of a new character, that would combine the two basic functional qualities of the space "residence - production studio".

The central synthetic idea was based on an architectural simplicity, with clean, geometric lines, shaped by simple, imaginative and functional constructions, with a common connecting thread, the self-construction. At the same time, the choice of the colors, the special materials, the small scale quality found in the detail, the wooden ceiling preservation that offers an obvious contrast with the other architectural choices of the residence, co-shape the synthetic idea.

The above architectural manipulations combined with the indirect artificial lighting, form a stable "living" framework and at the same time contribute to the "switching" living scenario from a production studio to a residence and vice versa.
