Jaipur Rugs - Dubai Flagship Store | ROAR

Jaipur Rugs, an Indian company that has been active for more than forty years in the design and production of handmade carpets in the Indian region of Rajasthan, opens a new flagship store in Dubai, on Alserkal Avenue, the city's artistic district.

Covering an area of over 7,000 square metres, the space houses an extensive collection of carpets created using traditional techniques handed down through generations. The exquisite patterns, intricate motifs and vibrant colours envelop visitors, telling the brand's eclectic aesthetic and the unique stories woven with passion and dedication by the artisans.

"Following the successful opening of our shop in Milan in 2021, we are delighted to bring Jaipur Rugs to Dubai and open our flagship store on Alserkal Avenue," said Yogesh Chaudhary, director of Jaipur Rugs. "Dubai is known for its appreciation of art and culture, and is therefore the perfect destination to showcase our rugs and the stories they tell," he added.

"We devised a different set up from conventional carpet exhibitions, ingeniously incorporating the architecture of the space to fuse design, craftsmanship and innovation, offering visitors an immersive experience. In addition, we introduced three enchanting experience rooms housed within jewel-themed domes: the Sapphire Room, the Emerald Room and the Ruby Room. These rooms feature carpets that stretch from floor to ceiling, creating an immersive atmosphere where the collections themselves become magnificent works of art," reveals Pallavi Dean.
