Next to the Sierra Calderona, in Valencia, is Villa Zytrus, a newly built luxury single-family home that has 715m2 of living space distributed over three floors. The design of the house was inspired by the trapezoidal shape of the plot, with the idea of dividing it into blocks to create open and light-filled spaces. The villa has two main areas and a central joining block, which allows the northern view of the plot to be open to the garden thanks to an inverted cone layout.
At the main entrance of the house, located to the north, there are typical Mediterranean trees, such as pines and fruit trees. The façade of the house is built with stone walls and large-format porcelain, with wooden finishes and large windows that allow an impressive view of the natural environment. To the east and south of the house, there is a Mediterranean garden that leads to a meadow area with terraces and ornamental trees. This area includes a chill out area with herringbone ceramic tile flooring, planters, work benches and plant finishes that integrate perfectly into the natural landscape.
To the west of the house is the access to the garage, located in the semi-basement of the villa, where there is a wine cellar, a gym, guest bedrooms and a multipurpose room. The volumes of the house are distributed in such a way that one block is dedicated to social and daytime life, which includes the living room, kitchen, dining room, porch and secondary rooms. The second block is dedicated to private and night life, with offices and the master bedroom. The link between these blocks is made up of a cantilevered staircase made of wood and metal, with a stone wall that rises from an interior garden illuminated by a large vertical window. From here you can enjoy views of the garden with infinity pool and solarium.
Villa Zytrus is an architectural project that perfectly combines elegance and contemporary design with the natural beauty of the surroundings.
