One-room apartment of 50 square meters is intended for rent.
The space is minimalistic and expressive. Our task as architects was to allocate a bedroom area in one-room apartment without doing complex redevelopment. We divided a large room into two: a living room and a bedroom, using a cube-shaped dressing room, which was placed in the center of the room and surrounded with a glass partition with hinged doors around the perimeter. The glass was covered with a dichroic film to keep the bedroom private.
The cubic shape of the dressing room was supported by the same shape of the kitchen, which seems to lay on the wall and does not reach the ceiling.
With competent zoning, we managed to zone the apartment with a bedroom with a dressing room, a living room and dining area and a large number of storage spaces.
In the bathroom, we also applied the idea with a dichroic film, pasting it over a glass partition.
