Designed by artistically driven design firm Studio Carter, Hotel Indigo Hangzhou Uptown blends a classical and contemporary design. Located in the picturesque West Lake scenic area in Hangzhou, the hotel is close to the old ruins of the Southern Song Dynasty’s imperial city. Designers took inspirations from the local culture and history, using avant-garde aesthetics to integrate a thousand years of Song stories. The setting is trendsetting and fashionable, giving sway to a new Song "wave" where ancient and modern cultures meet.
