While designing the garment buying house office space of BGTEX Ltd, we kept the health and well-being of the employees in our minds so that it boosts moods, increases productivity and reduces stress levels. The clean lines and minimal design give the office a polished look without much distraction.

We spend a significant time of our lives in the office. A research suggests that an average person spends 90,000 hours at work over a lifetime. So as designers, when we design a work space, the health and well-being of the employees remain at the heart of our decision. We designed the Garments Buying Office Interior space of BGTEX garments buying house in a similar manner.

We designed an open-plan design and invited adequate amount of sunlight in by using floor to ceiling windows. This not only gives daylight but also saves energy. Even the large furniture are placed away from the windows so that the outdoor view is not blocked. So, when an employee is working, they get an uninterrupted view of the outdoors and feel a little more relaxed.

The open plan layout also encourages the movement of employees and interaction for proper teamwork. The reception, workstations and common spaces are kept open while some private pods were added for the manager’s room and meeting rooms.

Since it is a buying house office, we also had to designate open space for displays and samples. Studies indicate that working environments with natural features have a 15% higher wellness of employees. We added natural features to the workspace by including a variety of indoor plants. As for the color scheme, we opted for a neutral base with pops of oranges and yellows on some feature walls to give an energetic and positive vibe. Tones like yellow and orange are known to boost creativity. The furniture pieces of the workspace were customized by Zero Inch Furniture Ltd keeping sustainability and waste reduction in mind. The clean lines and minimal design of the furniture give the office a polished look without much distraction.
