Roots Flowers | KIDZ

ROOTS flowers is a young Moscow-based floristry brand that creates unique bespoke floral arrangements. The designers were tasked with creating St. Petersburg's first visitor showroom, which should become a business card and emphasise the uniqueness of the brand. By developing the design, the authors wanted to create a bright, original, memorable interior that draws attention from the street.
The designers were asked to use unconventional combinations of materials and colours to create a recognisable image. In the space, the focus is on the florists' stand, above which a central piece of art is placed - a weightless suspension of dried flowers. An exhibition piece for displaying flowers is placed in front of the counter.
The area for guests was separated from the technical area by a metal lath partition with integrated shelves for plants and a floral cooler. There is a reception area at the entrance and cosy window seats for waiting and relaxing.
The interior of the hall is logically completed by a spectacular composition of mirrors and terrazzo, in whose reflection the space refracts, creating the illusion of blurring the boundaries and expanding the space. Neon signs accentuate the sophistication of the interior.
