Like a Phoenix from the Mud Euskirchen / Germany / 2021
In July 2021, a huge tidal wave rolled across the country, sweeping away trees, houses and roads and burying numerous livelihoods under a blanket of devastation. This included the Eller family's two fashion stores in Euskirchen. Stick your head in the mud? Out of the question for the Ellers. New chance, new luck - look ahead and go.
Plaster, screed, pipes - everything was broken. The wall separating the two storefronts was no longer an issue. Away with it. The result was a single large space of over 600 square meters. This is now home to the new concept store, which with its bright and friendly atmosphere pleasantly wipes away gloomy thoughts of last year.
The store thrives on its generous openness and the cozy calm exuded by the modern architecture and harmonious color concept. It is the semi-transparent curtains in the display windows, the breathing areas of competence with the loose furnishings and stylish lighting, and the rethought presentation of goods at eye level that elicit a wow from customers. In the center is a five-meter-long table on which the entire fashion competence of the family-owned company is presented via carefully staged merchandising. Above it, white cloths hang from the ceiling - as an eye-catcher and as a tribute to the cloth town of Euskirchen. There is no longer a checkout counter at E1. Instead, a long bar has been set up where guests can relax and enjoy an espresso while paying for their purchases. This entire area is decorated in the color "Red Earth" and radiates a great deal of warmth and friendliness.
While the spacious cabin area with sofa landscape is dipped in "Green Earth", as a color synonym for creativity, harmony and relaxation. Otherwise, the entire area wraps itself in soft beige and natural tones, so that the respective collections are shown to their best advantage. Oak wood, linen fabrics, concrete and filigree furniture made of black steel blend in with subtle contrast. Wow.
