La Rinascente Piazza Fiume - New 1st floor

The partnership between DWA Design Studio and the Rinascente of Piazza Fiume in Rome continues. After designing the fourth floor of the building created by Franco Albini, the Milanese studio is also responsible for the men's fashion department on the first floor.

The renewed Rinascente floor boasts a specific concept developed through contrasts, such as the combination of bright colors and important materials with a rigorous and linear design.

All areas of the floor are distinguished by recognizable features with a strong scenic impact, defining their individual identities. The color schemes are harmonized despite their heterogeneity in the hypothetical narrative continuum of a surprising and welcoming experiential journey.

For this reason, it was fundamental to focus on the choice of specific finishes that emphasize the multifaceted world of men's fashion, where the mix of materials such as steel and wood is well calibrated in terms of colors and combinations, transitioning from more dynamic environments such as those dedicated to streetwear, to softer and deeper ones, such as those dedicated to underwear and shoes.

Continua il binomio tra DWA Design Studio e la Rinascente di piazza Fiume a Roma.
Dopo aver allestito il quarto piano dell’edificio disegnato da Franco Albini, lo studio milanese progetta anche il reparto dedicato alla moda maschile del primo piano.

Il rinnovato piano della Rinascente si pregia di un concept specifico che si sviluppa per contrasti, come quello tra i colori accesi e i materiali importanti versus un design rigoroso e lineare.

Tutte le aree del piano sono distinte da tratti riconoscibili, dal forte impatto scenico, che ne definisce le singole identità. I paesaggi cromatici sono armonizzati pur nella loro eterogeneità nell’ipotetico continuum narrativo di un percorso esperienziale sorprendente e accogliente.

Per questo è stato fondamentale puntare sulla scelta di finiture specifiche, che sottolineano lo sfaccettato mondo della moda maschile, laddove la mescolanza di materiali come l’acciaio e il legno è ben calibrata su colori e abbinamenti per passare da ambienti più dinamici, come quelli dedicati allo streetwear, ad altri più morbidi e profondi, come quelli dedicati all’intimo e alle scarpe.
