Andrea's apartment | Penny Batalia

The project concerns the total renovation of an 68 sq. m apartment, located in the area of Glyfada, in Athens. The aim was to redesign space in such a way that could become a 2 bedroom apartment, with a cozy and efficient living room, as well as an open air kitchen.

The living room got an extremely different character, by the total modification of the old fireplace, as it becomes a highlight, with its geometry. A unique complex that seems like an ode to the circle! Additions of California marble, oak wooden surfaces and cabinets, but also the bathroom with its terrazzo tiles and its terracotta cabinets that assembly a gate, create a warm tone color palette, which greatly affects the overall visual quality.
