Bologna, given its geographical location, represents the natural crossroads between northern and southern Italy. The city, which boasts the oldest university in the world, as of today hosts more than 80,000 students from all over the world, and precisely because of its dynamism and multi-culturalism, it was chosen by The Social Hub to open its second facility in Italy, characterized by a new idea of hotel accommodation, with a hybrid formula open to both students and Italian and international tourists, as well as to the citizens of Bologna.

The Social Hub Bologna opened in the fall of 2020 in a strategic area of the city, in the Navile district, inside the former Telecom building, just 5 minutes from Bologna Centrale train station and the People Mover stop for the airport.

The hotel has an area of about 26,000 square meters and is equipped with 354 rooms, 61 percent of which are dedicated to students and 39 percent to other guests.

If the accommodation offer dedicated to guests is anything but traditional, what The Social Hub is able to offer the city of Bologna is quite extraordinary: a Creativity Hub among the most interesting in Europe equipped with spaces for food & beverage, work, meeting areas and cultural events. TSH is a hotbed of ideas and professions, thanks in part to the 400-square-meter Collab, the dedicated coworking space. The centerpiece of the Creativity Hub is the inner courtyard, a true “Italian piazza” open to the city, where cultural events, concerts, and conferences can be organized where the city’s own food and drink culture can be deepened inside The Commons restaurant.

TSH Bologna is a place that can represent the “new time” of the city: innovative, creative, welcoming, stubborn and eternally rebellious.
