The initial situation for the construction of the single-family house was a steep slope sloping southwards. Due to the steepness of the slope, it was necessary to erect the structure
layered in terraces to ensure good embedding in the slope or in the landscape.

The property found was very small. Due to its configuration, the legal distance and density regulations, as well as the building regulations of the authorities, the residential functions were divided into three levels.The square meters were concentrated on the main living area on the first floor. This concentration causes a natural overhang of the square meter of usable area, which can also be seen in the shape of the building.

From the inside, this creates the optimal orientation of the living area to the south with a view over the city and a covering of access from the garage.

Access is from the west. From there, a staircase under the living area leads to the entrance area.
On this level there is a spacious entrance, wellness units such as sauna, steam bath and fitness room, as well as a wine cellar and home cinema.
The main floor with kitchen, dining, living and the two children's rooms is above. All rooms on the main floor are oriented towards the south and west terrace.

The master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom is on the second floor. This floor is connected to a second, upper terrace and is accessed via a kind of attic staircase with a trapdoor.

The house is a low-energy house, heated by an air heat pump.
