Crystal Beat | Preciosa Lighting

Presenting its new Signature Design, Crystal Grid, the Czech lighting specialist will create a dynamic installation named Crystal Beat – where design collides with music and light to challenge the viewers’ perceptions.

Thanks to a specially designed technological solution that allows lighting features to react to ambient music, Crystal Beat sees a three-dimensional sound system synchronised with a spatial crystal light centrepiece, resulting in an ethereal and interactive environment. As the music plays from one part of the installation, the rhythm follows, giving the impression that the viewers are “seeing” the sound.

Designed by Preciosa’s Creative Directors Michael Vasku and Andreas Klug, Crystal Beat features layers of light that create depth and atmosphere, while layers of music draw visitors into a genuinely immersive experience.

Mr. Vasku says: “Light and sound go hand in hand in all our installations, as they are essential to the creation of atmosphere.“

The forthcoming exhibition at Euroluce is to mark the launch of Preciosa’s brand-new Signature Design, Crystal Grid. With its simple form, the design features hand-blown bubbled crystal tubes while geometrically suspending them in an illuminated grid structure. The result is an artistic, modular installation that envelopes both small and large spaces with light and energy. More details to follow.

Preciosa has previously exhibited at Euroluce and as part of the wider Milan Design Week with its headline installations including Breath of Light (2018), Carousel of Light (2019), and Composition in Crystal (2022).
