Tulum is characterized for being a town where the concept is the connection with nature, since due to the geographical characteristics it has, it makes this easier, firstly because it is in a privileged area of the Mayan Riviera and secondly because Being inside the jungle of Quintana Roo.

Designing from the natural environment in which the project unfolds has become an essential part of the office design process, since preserving, or rather, impacting the natural environment to a lesser extent, makes us boost our creativity by have less freedom in the process, reduce it to the minimum possible so that in this way a true minimalist architecture is generated, using less natural resources, less economic resources, less environmental impact and a greater architectural response.

The complex has a minimal architectural program, which seeks for the user to really feel inside the jungle but at the same time without losing comfort; The project is developed on a 1,626m2 property and consists of 8 room units, for a total of 12 rooms, a gazebo and basic amenities such as a bar and pool.

Wood was defined as the main construction material for various reasons, such as speed of execution and giving a first impression of naturalness, which blends perfectly with the jungle.

Energy efficiency was another of the axes that defines the complex, since it has ventilation and natural lighting, through lattices made of the same wood in each module that allow the passage of both wind and light, together with the semi-translucent ceilings that minimize the use of electricity for lighting during the day.
In addition to the fact that the little electricity that is needed will be through solar energy, through photovoltaic panels and solar collectors.
