A Showroom Interior Design- Using Recycled and Eco-Friendly Materials

Since our client, Crown Wears has been a leading name in the readymade garment
manufacturing industry, we wanted the display showroom in Gazipur reflect its brand message
clearly. The basic concept we went for was an industrial outlook. Industrial design is all about
raw effect with an unfinished look, where nothing is concealed. It is more like a “warehouse
look” that takes care of both function and style. The 4000 sq ft showroom consists of display
space, coffee corner, conference room, lounge and washroom. An extensive amount of products
like casual, sports, and formal wears were to be displayed, so we went for a neutral base with
two basic colours- black and white. That’s why all the different coloured products get the
highlight. We wanted the space to have a dynamic look so that the look could be changed
according to the trends of the seasons. That’s why; we made the display units adjustable, where
products can be displayed in different styles. In terms of lighting, directional lighting helps to
highlight the products. Another aspect that we kept in mind was taking an eco-friendly approach
through our design. And so, all the furniture was made from reclaimed wood and metal. Not only
did it help to minimize the budget, but also helped to minimize waste. That is basically what we
always strive for in our company.
