Steszew Housing Estate | Mili Młodzi Ludzie

The location of Stęszew Estate was not chosen by accident. It is a secluded and peaceful area, while also having excellent connections to Poznań. An ideal place for a first home. The building has a minimalist form, with subtle additions that enhance it. The shape is simple, and character is added by the textured attic detail, stone finishes above the doors, and the color of the façade.

Due to restrictions in the Local Spatial Development Plan, it was decided to construct a two-story building with a maximum allowable height. This means that instead of three low floors, there are two high and spacious ones. The upper floor includes a comfortable mezzanine. The ground floor is a living space, with a large living room leading out to a terrace and a decent-sized kitchen. There is also a small bathroom on the ground floor, which houses a hidden heater. The upper floor is the private space of future residents, containing a bathroom and bedrooms.

The building is designed to be adaptable to the future buyer. The upper floor has six proposed functional layouts - the client can choose the one that best suits their needs (from one to even four bedrooms on the upper floor). The ground floor also has several options to choose from - changing the kitchen layout can also accommodate a comfortable office with a view of the driveway.

The aim of the project was to create apartments in a developer standard plus. With minimal costs, typical developer solutions were raised to a usable standard - inherent elements of the building were exposed and gained decorative value. Hence, polished concrete on the floor, exposed smart boards on the ceiling, natural finish steel tie rods, and Porotherm brickwork built with more care than if it were to be covered with plaster. Thus, technical interiors were created in character. Clients not interested in such interior expression can, of course, arrange it according to their own preferences.
