The gathering of modern elites is mainly connected by the "urban living room" to resonate with the spirit of the circle, expressing people's pursuit of life. The City of Nanjing, with its heavy and gentle character, has a modern avant-garde temperament and creates an attitude toward contemporary life beyond. Zhongchi Real Estate and DSArchitects jointly created a unique atmosphere through design, connecting the present to the future and creating a free spiritual territory in a prosperous business landscape.

With the rapid development of technology and material civilization, people who are always on the run will only tend to think about the meaning of life during the occasional moments that they spend breathing in between. In Aldenberger's concept of "Third Space", people's homes are social places, besides places to live and work, and this time-space encounter appears in this project.

AND's different functional blocks, composed of points, lines, and surfaces, start from the perspective of customers, and explore how to release more potential of “third space” under the empowerment of digital technology. The accessibility and sociality of "Third Space" determine the points of the space; its information intensity and functional diversity determine its lines; the surface that integrates consumption places, entertainment places, and social places increases user flow and the amount of time spent there through space design.

"The starting point of the design is to think about real estate attributes and to create a clubhouse and showroom that are completely different from the residential product. The goal is to redefine the "third residence" of the Nanjing layer peak crowd with the developer's logic — just like a yacht, sailing in an ocean of free spirits in a broad territory of artistic life,” explains designer Haiyang Jin.

The clean and orderly space, composed of light, shadows, and lines, arouses tranquility in the subconscious. All arrangements seem to be scattered at will, but they express the ritual sense of space in a restrained way, presenting a more free and stretched state.

The inspiration of the yacht makes the residents see the infinite possibilities of space. For themselves, it is their most treasured private domain. For their friends, it is a warm and receptive environment for comfortable enjoyment. 'Spirit' is the overall concept. In this spiritual territory, lifestyle will not be defined, but rather will be freely played with through great creativity.

Undoubtedly, home is a showroom for personal heroism. Success cannot be separated from pioneering and adventurous spirits. In terms of residence, the design integrates the subjective consciousness space of the occupant with the objective existing space, creating a unique spiritual atmosphere for the venue.

The mystery created by the main bedroom is in the gray zone between restraint and publicity, allowing people to gaze upon a slice of starlit sky in front of a huge floor-to-ceiling window at any time, while returning to their own spiritual territory at will.

The designer believes that solitude is the best practice for a person and offers life's greatest scenery. Compared to the main bedroom, the guest bedroom is intended to provide a completely different experience in terms of hotel-quality hospitality and comfort.

The bathroom space is lined up along the floor-to-ceiling windows, which is an opening for thinking, enjoying warm sunshine, and experiencing greater connection with the city. When entering, one can see a better self because of the presence of light, while imagination inspires visions of internationalized life.
