Luxurious kitchen WO | Bob Romijnders

The living room and kitchen of a Dutch farmhouse were completely renovated and re-designed. The original layout was cluttered due to multiple small rooms, so the furniture in the living room was rearranged and a brand new kitchen was created. The result is a calming, serene atmosphere that complements the rural charm of the farmhouse.
The kitchen spans the full length of the living room after breaking through a wall. Everything was custom made with meticulous attention to detail, such as the skylight above the stove which provides ample natural light in the previously dark area. The beautiful wooden beams were preserved as part of the design, and every aspect of the kitchen was carefully selected including the materials and furniture. The client was taken to see the natural stone supplier to experience the materials, and a lighting expert was consulted to create a tailored lighting plan. A 3D render was made to give the client a preview of the new kitchen. The stove was also redesigned to better match the atmosphere of both the kitchen and living room.
