The transformation of a home does not begin when physical barriers are broken, like a wall for example, but when the resident feels the need to transform his relationship with space, it is the barrier of old habits!

In this project, we had the objective of making a major transformation. The kitchen, which used to be treated only as a day-to-day necessity, is now a space to create, receive and interact.

The relationship between the kitchen and the house became more imposing, creating a space for conviviality and warmth. When we removed the walls that were separating the balcony from the living room and kitchen, a new reading of the entrance space and the relationship with the intimate area was created.

The colors in green and cement reflect the client's profile, creating a more masculine but receptive, bright and colorful space. The use of wood and ceramic tiles on the kitchen island also show the diversity of choices and the warmth that was sought to be conveyed.
