The project's design concept encompasses a wide range of concerns. To begin, the park should be easily accessible to a big population and should be linked to its urban surroundings. A major circulation axis is planned, connecting the park to both the East and West neighborhoods.

The proposed function for the new development is the result of an in-depth analysis of the community and the people's requirements for today and in the future. All of the newly planned functions are distributed around the park and are linked to the pedestrian network through a diagonal axis with the principal circulation spine. The functions located in different locations would attract people to gather all around the park and will create a vibrant environment.

To preserve their natural habitat, existing trees were retained as much as possible while designing the pedestrian arrangement. The narrow edge of the park in the south has been redesigned with pedestrians for walking and bicycling and it is open to the people of the community. Two existing water bodies have been connected in the proposed design to maintain continuity and reduce the risk of degradation, which adds a new dimension to the design.

The boundary wall has been modified in a permeable manner so that the park and activities within can be visible from the outside, creating a pleasant environment and making it accessible to everyone, which will aid in reducing the risk of unexpected crime.

Open playgrounds for children and non-mechanical instruments are positioned in a specified zone to provide adequate facilities for the growing age. A particularly developed playground for physically challenged children and teenagers is linked to the main playground.

On the western side, an amphitheater is designed to encourage cultural activities on various occasions relating to Bengali culture. Services to assist visitors, such as public bathrooms, water drinking booths, seats, and so on, are also incorporated in the proposed design to ensure the park's efficient operation in the future.
