Choosing an outlet mall where to spend spare time is becoming more and more a new approach to shopping and leisure. The intention is to create a different reality: a shopping town away from the chaos of the big city, where is possible to find comfort, relaxation and have good time.

The architectural design combines the need to meet the functional requirements of the customer and the finding of an architectural style which is unique in China.

The project consists of 26,000 sqm GFA which results in 110 shop units (retail shops, restaurants,  bars), 1 indoor Family Entertainment Center, 1 vip lounge, 1 customer service point, 2 security rooms, 4 public toilets, 2 big shop storages. Two underground car-parking floors can accommodate up to a maximum of 900 car spaces.

The layout has been studied in a way that all shops have the same visibility, avoiding any black spot by placing some public functions close to the less visible shop units. Several paths start from the squares and develop in streets, widenings, porches and galleries until they finally rejoin, accompanying the customer on an imaginary journey through the most beautiful Italian cities.

The porches are a constant in Italian architectural tradition. This is why they have been provided almost everywhere, taking advantage of their function of protection from the climatic elements and of the consequent arising of volumes and shapes by playing with the alternation of light and shadow, empty and full.

As well as for the shapes and architectural proportions, also the colors and materials used are typical of the Italian old style, such as antiqued roofing tiles, moldings and decorative frames, marble balustrades and wrought iron artistic railings. Everything is supported by innovative techniques and materials to improve the work in terms of construction, energy conservation and maintenance.
