The turret room in this 1898 Queen Anne-style Victorian house in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington DC housed an air conditioning unit and storage area for most of its existence. In 2022 it was converted into a full bath, complete with period fixtures and clad in heart pine flooring and yellow pine walls and ceilings reclaimed from period houses located in Baltimore and Noth Carolina. Vintage brass fittings, lighting fixtures of various styles and eras, and an eye-catching glass shower enclosure give the room a certain gleam, while the warm wood cladding lends an aura of tranquility.
