Horizontally developed in a hidden garden with a swimming pool overlooking the ocean, the Patio em Miramar in Portugal stands out for its brutalist architecture in exposed concrete, in osmosis with the outer green. The façades as well as the "bare" interior walls with orthogonal cuts perfectly express the philosophy of the designer, architect João Pedro Serodio, who states that architecture establishes a structural perimeter whose purpose is to outline and protect the interior spaces, while the furniture and personal items define the living space and give it its character. All the spaces, which are built around a central patio-garden, overlook the surrounding greenery through large windows.

The solid wood slatted floors and the presence of several rugs warm the atmosphere of the living areas where the main protagonists are a selection of iconic Ritzwell furniture, all signed by Shinsaku Miyamoto. DIANA sofas and armchairs in soft leather with curved wooden legs, together with the round MO coffee table and JK coffee table with curved walnut top, create cosy relaxation and conversation areas. The sideboard JABARA with sliding doors and the long MCM dining table in solid walnut and black metal with a minimalist design customise the dining area. Together, with their contemporary taste characterised by clean, timeless lines, they perfectly fit into the architecture that accommodates them.
