GRIT | yellow office architecture

Project composed of 5 individual houses, one of which has been completed as a prototype so far. Built on a metal structure with an emphasis on insulation and comfort, these cabins are a great way to observe the natural beauty of the landscape without becoming visually intrusive.
The clear, minimalist geometry meets the requirement of discretion for this intervention. A generous glazed facade opening to the water and forest creates a strong visual connection between interior and exterior. The same thing characterizes the sleeping space located in the attic. The large glazed surface contributes to the pleasant feeling of being in the middle of nature.
The low-cost maintenance requirements were solved by the use of weather-resistant materials: the sheet metal facade, the metal elements and the perforated terrace floors. The volume is raised from the ground level and protected in case of heavy rains.
