Bang Boet Beach Garden house is designed around the ideas of exposure to gardens, beach views, natural airflow, and environmental sustainable design in the tropical climate. Priority in the design has been given to seasonal natural airflow, cross ventilation, stack effect, large roof overhangs for plenty of shading and cooling, large shaded outdoor living spaces, deep verandahs, layout and orientation to seasonal sun path reducing exposure to high angled sunlight, and simple economical construction methods to maintain budget. Passive airflow design or mechanical air conditioning can be used to cool the house.
