In the midst of the timelessly beautiful Austria’s lake district, stands Villa Alma. A wooden lakeside retreat that offers an exceptional experience, both physical and visual.

The interior of this vacation residence is just as charming as the landscape that surrounds it. With its delicate furniture and a colorful design that matches the lake's color palette, each and every room of Villa Alma provides a sense of serenity to its guests.

On a more technical note, Villa Alma was a head-to-toe renovation project. The old interior was fully renovated and adorned with intricate patterns, warm wooden floors, and luxurious cement tiles by Bert&May. The exquisite furniture used in this boutique hotel was provided by Socialite Family. Studio Eliste also made bespoke furniture pieces and sourced dazzling lamps & antiques from all over Europe for lovely Alma.

From the eclectic breakfast room red to the hallway and the writers' corner blue, this villa shines in a new light and signature palette, giving guests a fun, warm and homey feeling. The fabrics and wallpapers by Ottoline also bring every room to life with their playful patterns and “lakeside breeze” inspired colors.

Studio Eliste brought its aesthetic vision also to the outside of the house. The roof, early 20th-century architecture, needed to be withdrawn in order to assemble the spacious balconies and incredible suites that now stand proudly on top of Villa Alma. As for the facade, St. Gilgen town hall allowed us to use the natural larch that nowadays makes this house feel like to anyone. Lastly, Studio Eliste’s team added some finishing touches such as the iconic round windows that have now become a signature element of Villa Alma.
