A newly restored heritage house in the historic city of MechMech, Lebanon is now open revealing a colorfully modern interior within vernacular architectural forms.

This family house dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, built by a Notorious public figure, sits on a large land facing both the sea and the cedar mountain summits has come to life thanks to the perseverance and the courage of its owners and investors both strong advocates of the Lebanese resilient “joie de vivre”.

When GM Architects was given the opportunity to transform this family property into a boutique hotel in MechMech, they knew that they wanted to treat the sprawling property more like “the experience of visiting a house more than a hotel.”

With this in mind, guests of Beit Noun enter into a space that feels more like an entry hall of a home than the lobby of a hotel.

Holding in a stylish design decor with a personal note. It has a unique character and distinguishes itself from other hotel brands. It is true to its heritage.

The landscape, interior, architectural space of the building has provided constant sensory stimulations to the guests from the moment they walk into the hotel area to their entering to the lobby.

The integrative design of the hotel starts from the entrance area in our concept, but not confines to the main building of the hotel, we emphasize the integration of the three.
