Chevron Parquet Wood Flooring in Edinburgh | Unique Bespoke Wood

Unique Bespoke Wood - had pleasure to work on this high end residential project located in city center Edinburgh, close to Calton hill. Calton Hill is a mix of bustling commercial areas and quiet residential streets. 

We produced, supplied and installed 21mm/140mm/670mm, gentely brushed, smoked and finshed in "Silver Grey" engineered chevron parquet flooring. 

The work started with subfloor prepration, we laid 15mm water proofed birch playwood to level and create a solid base before laying chevron parquet flooring. 

The clients request was to run chevron pattern continuously trough all the room and match the high with the tiles. Our fitters managed to achive same level with the tiles. 

The challenging part was to undercut high Victorian style skirting boards, to slide the chevron parquet floring under to achieve nice and neat finish around the edges, so it will look the parquet flooring was laid before the skirting boards.
