Casa Cor Exhibit 2022 | Moca Arquitetura

A meeting of ideas, references and inspirations, in the creation of a sophisticated place, that transports us to the tranquility and comfort of hotels. Called the Reveev Resort Suite, this concept project, by Moca Arquitetura, surprises with the contrast between natural and urban elements, set in a space that exudes elegance, softness and relaxation. 

The design is inspired by this year’s theme for CASACOR, “Infinito Particular”. The event is the most important exhibition of architecture, interior design and landscaping in the Americas. The 78 m² room awakens the serenity of visitors and encourages the search for a raw, true and authentic self-essence. A place that leads our imagination to other destinations and stimulates different sensations.

The highlight of this project is the Ello Bed, the result of a partnership between the architects Ana Sikorski and Katia Azevedo, and the bed and mattress brand, Reveev. Designed by the architects, the piece references the 70s furniture, renovated with the functionality, aesthetics and organicity of the space. The exclusive design has a ratchet system on the headboards, which allows furniture use in different positions and formats. The idea is that comfort prevails in any situation, in small or spacious rooms, and that we rethink the usability of these pieces, elevating the concept of projects.

The partnership with the interior designer, Flávia Glanert, is also present in every detail of the suite. Unlike previous projects, which have a vibrant aesthetic - a trademark of Moca Arquitetura-, for this environment the partners opted for lightness and the use of soft colors, creating a parallel between warm and cold materials. The nuances between white, beige and bronze tones connect with the low lighting, the use of natural elements such as the water mirror, and contemporary materials such as golden stainless steel.

In addition to the Ello Bed, the protagonist of this project, the suite also has wood pieces, furniture and decoration items thrifted and chosen by the project’s partners. The use of straight lines in the elements brought more contrast and fluidity to the room, promoting harmony between the two spaces. One of the highlights is the stainless steel vanity, designed by the architects, which brings a modern and refined look to the spa area.

The result of this great collaboration is a place that transports our thoughts and offers us a place to stop, breathe and enjoy each moment. A room that welcomes and invites the visitor to a relaxing and luxurious experience, at a five-star level hotel.
