Through the completion of the Nivola Museum, the project The Wall Without The Apple Tree aims to address the issues related to the dichotomy among: progressive urban overcrowding, abandonment of rural areas, climate change. This is done through the proposal for the competition and, hanging on to the recent exhibition "Be a Tree", to experiment a museum model which focuses on the dialogue among man, architecture, and environment.

The project seeks a synthesis between perception and thought, and the existing and its reworking. The connection between new and old projects is the diagonal cut which cross over the all flooring. The heart of the area is the central tree, around which we build The Tree Room - reference to Venezia’s Secret Garden 2. The general project is developed in different directions, creating a volume and different units.

The idea takes as a reference the pre-existing project, and uses atavistic geometric rules (such as the golden section) to define the entrance pavilion. It is generated by the wall theme and is made of a white-stone basement, on which rotates a volume, following the Nivola Museum directions. The usable flat roof is supported by a column, mention of Urban Hugs, and completed by a horizontal branching. The object defines the reception, the services, and a space for sharing, and disappears from above.

To the south there are microarchitectures (Shelters) scattered in the olive grove, which are silently integrated in the place. The material and formal treatment agrees with the adopted design strategy.
