Sisterhood | Biasol

Tasmania has fast become a foodie destination, and Sisterhood, located in the waterfront suburb of Sandy Bay, Hobart, is one of its newest restaurant-cafés. Inspired by a recent trip to Tulum, we created a warm and inviting environment that feels like a tropical destination in the comfort of a local community. Accommodating takeaway, dine-in, large groups and furry friends, Sisterhood offers openness for the sense of community as well as cosier areas for solace. The interior layers textures and earthy tones to create an elegant and calming space that reflects the coastal location and imbues a sense of nostalgia for a holiday escape. Timber and rattan have warmth; dark emerald is inspired by Tulum’s rainforests; and burnt-orange evokes Tasmania’s coastline. We designed the brand identity to represent the Sisterhood community: the logo expresses the bonds of friendships and relationships, and the brand language has playful messages of positive reinforcement.
