Architectural study and interior design of the historical hotel, El Greco.
We took over the complete renovation and reconfiguration, interior and exterior, of the three-storey building.
The hotel consists of 17 rooms, reception area, a restaurant and a roof garden.
The clear influence of the renovation was the art of the famous Cretan painter, El Greco.
Each room was designed based on a specific painting of the painter and characterized by a dominant color, which is discreetly reflected on elements of the furnishings.
Thus, there were used semicircular elements, dramatic shadows, wrinkled edges and contrasts that create a unique experience.
