Louis.I.Kahn believes that "light is the mentor of architecture". After all, there is nothing that can modify the home space and people's mood better than natural light. Fusion design knows this well. The whole room is equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, and the white gauze is used as a gentle barrier. The filtered light naturally penetrates into the room and blends with the creamy white and Klein blue that extend the whole room. There are blue sky and white clouds outside the house, and the same is true inside the house.

Remove the wall, and expand the clear space by subtraction.

Miss D, the house owner, is a wise entrepreneur. Compared with the size of the living area, she cares more about the texture and comfort of the space. After a busy day, it is quite necessary for her to have a place to deep in meditation. Facing a narrow space of 40㎡, Fusion Design does a subtraction operation to remove all non-load-bearing walls to weaken the functional boundaries of the space. Without the barrier of the wall, the light outside the window flows down, illuminating the space and the mood of the person.

Because of the busy work, life more needs a moment of rest. Fusion uses the creamy white and Klein blue as the key tone of the entire room, and paints a large area of bright surface. Light is freely reflected and refracted on the paint surface, and the bright effects are superimposed on layers, making the field of vision in the house brighter and wider, creating a bright living field.

Considering that there is only one occupant, Fusion Design combines the original living room with one bedroom which at the same side. The bedroom goes back to the basic function that only focus on the touch feeling and sleep requirement. The bedroom is not too much decorated, a soft big bed is enough. The bed has absorbed the sunshine of the day is warm and fragrant, as if returning to mother's embrace, making people feel at ease and sleep well.

The sliding door between the bed room and the living room was taken out, and only a curtain was used as a partition. The curtain divides the living room and the bedroom into functional partitions, ensuring the privacy of daily individuals and creating a space of their own. Meanwhile, because of its soft texture and hardly occupy space, it also maintains the permeability of the space. Pull up the curtain to hide it, ensuring the connectivity of the two spaces and increasing mutual dialogue and communication between them.

Install the cabinets, hiding the pillars and easy to store.

The porch is the first space after entering the house, and it is also the first impression of the entire space. Fusion Design installs the embeded cabinets in the porch, and an open storage area is deliberately left in the middle of the cabinet. Keys, express delivery and other items readily pick and place, to meet the functional needs of daily life. The placement of large-area floor-to-ceiling glass allows light to be refracted naturally and expands the space vision.

There is no sofa in the living room, but a car seat surrounded by the walls on three sides. The non-removable load-bearing wall is incorporated into the cabinet, and the refrigerator, washing machine and dryer used daily are also quietly hidden behind by the same color baffle. Beauty and practicality has been completed in the same space. The drawer below the car seat used to store some books, snacks and tools. Turning on the top light of the car seat when reading at night, the whole space is full of the asthetic and peaceful atmosphere as the tender light is spilled on the body.

The key tone of creamy white and Klein blue extends into the bedroom, and the same style cabinets appear on the wall. The storage requirement are greatly satisfied, and the daily clothes and quilts are more than enough to store and the non-removable bearing wall is also hidden in the cabinet. The whole room is clean and tidy. The fan-shaped copper-plated door handle is beautiful and practical, which embellished the main bright space with retro flavor.

 We can see the owner’s character and abilities from her furnitures. The bookcase has four functions, with the TV cabinet on the outside, the bookcase full of books on the inside, the desk for daily office on the back, and the bed frame on the front. Each has its own uses, but they are interlocking. The whole space is harmonious and unified, but because of the multifunctional feature, it is full of fun.

Exchange the space, moving lines and functional partitions are more reasonable.

In order to ensure the sanitation and sensory experience of the homeowner, the small kitchen was moved, which was originally in the house and separated from the bathroom by one door, and the original sanitary position was divided into two, leaving a kitchen space. Then, the original bedroom was given to the living room, and the excess non-load-bearing wall in the space was removed. Divided the space near the window of the living room into two, so the dining room was also available. The kitchen has been moved to the position by the window, and the moving line is connected to the dining room, which is more convenient and also has plenty of light.

Dark green tiles are pasted on the kitchen wall, which not only facilitates the daily cleaning of oil fume, but under the action of light and shadow, the large green area is like a stretch of pine forest, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. Even people who don't cook often will feel the joy of cooking in that touch of vividness.

Round table is probably the best choice for a small space. The rounded arc is cleverly integrated into the space, without the edges and corners as the square table, which can not only better accommodate the number of people, but also avoid accidental collisions during walking. The designer deliberately used a bench to match it. When staying alone, you can do whatever you like, such as sit, recline, sleep on your back or your stomach on it. When friends come to meet at home, the bench will give full play to its advantages and serve the guests wholeheartedly.
