9 RUE DE TOUL | Bechu + Associés
Paris / France / 2019
In this project, the projected facades are inspired by their surroundings: The base is covered with stone in a hue and appearance similar to those of the façade of the adjoining No. 7.
Above the base, the brick, already present at nearby No. 13, covers the floors and attics. It is streaked with verticals that mark the upper parts of each plane under each bank of terrassons.
The two sidings, stone and brick are of the same hue, that of stone. The paintings and undersides of the lintels of the bays are coated in the continuity of the current parts. The salient angles are coated with appropriate monolithic elements.
