BOA KONG | GROSU ART STUDIO

BOA Kong, located inside the famous BOA Club Bucharest, is the newest location in Herăstrău: a top restaurant that we like to believe will change the perception over the restaurants in Romania.

Grosu Art Studio team took the project following other specialists. The pan-Asian restaurant offers a splendid view over Herăstrău Lake and the chosen elements: natural wood, cement, resin, metal, Bonsai trees, all bring the jungle-feel inside.

The space is unique in Bucharest: the spectacular height (12,75 meters), with a huge glass dome, floods the hall with permanent natural light. We combined artisanal elements with bionic shapes, clean geometries, and technology – each piece was hand drawn by architect Alexandru Păunescu. The central bar has round shapes and a Japanese garden with bonsai trees. There is also a sushi bar with an open-kitchen and a brass finished-oven, that visually communicate with the restaurant.
